Hi, we’re Fran and Lou Painters and decorators based in Newbury.

We started our business in 2008 after leaving our jobs in Human Resources and Sales to renovate a Victorian property that we split in to two apartments. Doing this over a period of 9 months we gained myriad skills in the home improvement field and after decorating our new apartments and some family and friends houses, we decided to use our new skills and start our own business

We now have 14 years of experience and have worked on a multitude of different projects including a 16th century pub (inside and out), a villa in Spain, stately homes, summer houses, offices and of course enough bedrooms, kitchens and living rooms to make your head spin.

In October 2014 we both gained level 2 NVQ Diploma’s in Decorative Finishing and Industrial Painting Occupations.

Louise has a Level 3 Diploma in Professional Interior Design Skills which she gained in Oct 2013. She has a great eye for design and colour and is also a gifted artist. She has used her skills on various creative projects for customers.
